Abstract submission is expected to open in 01 June 2026 with a deadline in 31 December 2026. Exact dates will be announced on the website and via email to registered and pre-registered participants.

WorldLeish8 accepts abstracts for oral presentations and poster presentations. Symposium proposals can also be submitted seperately “Symposium Proposal Submission and Guideline” section.

Abstract submission is completed through the Participant Portal in the following steps: 1) Complete your congress registration to obtain your portal login credentials. 2) Log in to the Participant Portal at worldleish8.org/Participant/Login. 3) Download the abstract template from the Abstract Topics page and prepare your abstract accordingly. 4) Select the most appropriate scientific topic from the 10 available categories. 5) Choose your preferred presentation format (oral or poster). 6) Upload your completed abstract through the portal and submit. You will receive a confirmation notification once your submission has been received. You can track the review status of your abstract at any time through the portal.

The official congress hotel is Titanic Deluxe Lara. You can make your accommodation reservation directly during the registration process on this website. No separate booking is required.

WorldLeish8 offers a distinctive all-inclusive accommodation package that sets it apart from most international scientific congresses. When you book an accommodation package at Titanic Deluxe Lara, your stay is on an ultra all-inclusive basis — all meals, beverages, and on-site services are included throughout the congress dates (5–9 April 2027), with no need to arrange accommodation or meals separately. Additional benefits such as airport transfers are also included.

Accommodation is optional. If you prefer, you may register as a Day-Use participant (registration only, without booking a room), with venue access from 09:00 to 18:00. Day-Use includes access to the meeting halls, coffee breaks and an open-buffet lunch with beverages served at the standard lunch hours. It does not include the resort facilities or dinner, and capacity may be limited.

The welcome cocktail is included for all registered participants (Day-Use and accommodation guests alike). The Social Events preferences collected during registration are used to gauge preliminary interest and for planning purposes. Details about the Gala event will be announced later.

Yes. For all room types other than single occupancy, participants are responsible for arranging their own roommates. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide the details of the person you wish to share your room with. Please coordinate with your preferred roommate before completing your registration. The organizing committee does not arrange or match roommates.

Yes. Staying at the congress hotel is not mandatory. You can register in one of two ways:

Day-Use (registration only) — for participants who do not stay at the congress hotel. Included (venue access 09:00–18:00, with your congress badge): full access to the scientific programme and meeting halls, coffee breaks, and an open-buffet lunch with beverages served at the standard lunch hours. Not included (reserved for guests with an accommodation package): overnight accommodation, breakfast and dinner, airport transfers, and use of the resort facilities (pool, beach, spa, à-la-carte restaurants, etc.). Day-Use access is limited to the congress areas during programme hours. Capacity may be limited, so early registration is recommended.

Accommodation package — stay at Titanic Deluxe Lara on an ultra all-inclusive basis. In addition to everything above, it includes airport transfers and full use of the resort. Just as importantly, hotel guests continue to enjoy the venue after 18:00 — evening dinner, the Lobby Bar and social activities — a relaxed setting to connect and network with fellow participants.

The 8th World Leishmaniasis Congress (WorldLeish8) will be held in Antalya, Türkiye, from April 5-9, 2027.

WorldLeish8 welcomes researchers, clinicians, public health professionals, students, and industry representatives working in leishmaniasis and related fields. Anyone interested in the latest developments in leishmaniasis research and control is encouraged to attend.

The official language of WorldLeish8 is English. All presentations, abstracts, and official communications will be in English.

The Participant Portal is a personalized online space for all registered congress participants. Through the portal, you can: submit abstracts and track your submission status; manage your congress registration details; view your reservation details including room type and accommodation dates; access your payment history and view your invoice details; and receive official notifications from the organizing committee.

You can access the portal at worldleish8.org/Participant/Login using the credentials created during your congress registration. If you have forgotten your password, click the 'Forgot password?' link on the login page to reset it via your registered email address.

No. Your Participant Portal account is automatically created when you complete your congress registration. You do not need to sign up separately — simply use the email address and password you provided during registration to log in.

Yes. Once logged in, you can submit your abstract, monitor its review status, and receive notifications about the outcome directly through the Participant Portal. All submission-related updates will be communicated via the portal and to your registered email address.

First, use the 'Forgot password?' option on the login page to reset your password. Make sure you are using the email address provided during registration. If the issue persists, please contact the organizing committee at info@worldleish8.org for assistance.

Yes. Once logged in to the Participant Portal, you can view a full summary of your registration and accommodation reservation, review your payment history, and view your invoice details. If you require a corrected or customized invoice, please contact us at info@worldleish8.org.

Yes, reduced registration fees will be available for students with valid student ID. Details about fee categories will be announced when registration opens.
